Connect ChatGPT to real estate data

ChatGPT connects to Ploti through a custom connector in developer mode. Results show up inline, and maps open in an embedded Ploti view.

    Enable developer mode

    Open Settings, then Connectors (called Plugins in newer builds), then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode. ChatGPT warns that custom connectors run on your behalf; accept to continue. On a workspace plan an admin may need to allow this first.

    Create the connector

    Back in Connectors, choose Create. Name it Ploti, add a short description such as “US parcel, zoning, and ordinance data”, paste the connector URL, and leave authentication on OAuth.

    Sign in to Ploti

    A browser window opens to Ploti. Sign in, pick the workspace you want to connect, and approve access. Free accounts connect the same way as paid ones.

    Use it in a chat

    In a new chat, open the plus menu, choose More, and select Ploti. ChatGPT then decides when to call it; naming Ploti in your message helps on the first turn.
