Filter the current working set

Filters are available in record lists, saved views, and map layers. Use the surface that matches the task: record filters for ongoing workflow and map filters for spatial exploration.

Filter records

  1. Open a record type at workspace, team, or project scope.
  2. Add one or more field conditions from the filter bar.
  3. Configure columns, sorting, grouping, or board layout.
  4. Choose Save if the configuration should become a reusable view.
Multiple conditions narrow the working set. Available fields and operators depend on the selected record type and property definition.

Filter map data

Open or add a dataset layer, then configure its property conditions and display. A research agent may also create filters and checkpoints as artifacts when the request requires a specific result set.

Ask for the intended result

In the research chat, describe the business condition rather than guessing field names:
Ask Ploti to preserve unknown values rather than silently excluding them when missing data could affect the conclusion.

Filters versus checkpoints

  • A filter is a live definition applied to data.
  • A checkpoint is a durable result set created at a point in the research.
  • A saved record view combines record filters with display settings for repeated team work.

Export the right thing

Export the artifact when you need the exact research result. Export a record view when you need the current tracked workflow state.
