Turn findings into durable records

Records are the structured objects your team keeps working with after research. Configurable record types can represent opportunities, properties, owners, contacts, or another workflow your organization needs.

What a record contains

A record combines system context with fields defined by its record type. Depending on your workspace, that can include:
  • Name, description, status, and priority
  • People, teams, and project relationships
  • Property or parcel relationships
  • Dates, numbers, select fields, and links
  • Notes, activity, and other business-specific fields

Where records appear

You can work with records across the workspace, within a team, or inside a project. The same record can retain its identity while appearing in the context where your team needs it.

Table and board views

Record lists support configurable columns, filters, sorting, grouping, and—when the chosen field supports it—a board layout. Save a useful configuration as a view so teammates can return to it.

Map connection

For spatial record types, choose View on map to open the current record set in the map workspace. From map results, you can also create a record when a research finding needs ongoing tracking.
