Connect Ploti to dots

dots is set up with a message rather than a connector: you make a key in Ploti, send dots one line, and it reads Ploti’s setup instructions and does the rest. It can then find properties, research ordinances, and ask Ploti for data it does not have yet. Before you start: You need a Ploti account. A workspace admin makes keys; if you are not an admin, ask one to make a key for dots and send it to you.
1

Create a key for dots

Open Connect your assistant in Ploti (sign in if asked), choose dots, and select Create key. Copy the key: Ploti shows it only once.
2

Paste this into dots

Start a conversation with dots and send this message:
Message
3

Follow what dots says

dots reads Ploti’s setup instructions and tells you what to do. When it asks for your key, add it in dots’s settings, not in the chat.
4

Try it

Ask dots: Use Ploti to find vacant parcels over 10 acres near Tampa, Florida.
To disconnect dots, open Settings, then API keys in Ploti, and select Disconnect next to its key. The key stops working at once.
