# Connect Ploti to Cursor

> Configure Ploti as an MCP server in Cursor Agent

# Connect Ploti to Cursor

Give Cursor Agent access to parcel and ordinance data so it can research places while you work.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Find MCP settings">
    Open **Cursor Settings**, then **Tools & MCP**, and select **New MCP Server**. Use `~/.cursor/mcp.json` to make Ploti available in every project, or `.cursor/mcp.json` to limit it to the current project.

  <Step title="Add Ploti">
    Add the Ploti entry below under `mcpServers`, then save the file.

    ```
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approve the connection">
    Return to **Tools & MCP**. When Ploti shows **Needs login** or **Connect**, select it. Sign in to Ploti, choose a workspace, and approve the connection.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Try it in Agent">
    Open the Agent panel and ask Cursor to find or compare properties in a place you care about. You can confirm the connection under Ploti in **Tools & MCP**.
