# Connect Ploti to Codex

Connect Ploti from your terminal, then use it across the Codex app, CLI, and IDE extension.

    Run the command below. Codex saves the connection in `~/.codex/config.toml` for the app, CLI, and IDE extension to use.

    codex mcp add ploti --url https://mcp.ploti.ai/api/mcp
    ```

  <Step title="Approve the connection">
    Run the login command. Ploti opens in your browser so you can sign in, choose a workspace, and approve access.

    codex mcp login ploti
    ```

  <Step title="Ask your first question">
    Start a Codex session and ask about a property or place. Codex can call Ploti whenever the request needs parcel or ordinance data.
