Leads are the heart of Ploti's deal tracking system. Each lead represents a potential land acquisition opportunity, containing properties, owner information, financials, and a complete history of your interactions.

## Leads + Projects

Leads can be associated with [Projects](/projects/overview) to organize related opportunities together. This is especially useful when:

* Pursuing multiple parcels in the same area
* Working on a specific development opportunity
* Managing deals for a particular client or partner

When you associate a lead with a project, it appears in that project's leads view for easy tracking.
